Due to the longstanding relationship between the Hombu Dojo, Japan and South Africa Goju Kai and the many groups of students visiting Japan, Saiko Shihan and his staff have graciously agreed to host karateka and parents from Western Province. The parents will participate in all activities except attending the training and grading.

• The grading will be headed by Saiko Shihan Yamaguchi, Peter Brandon Hanshi and Masatoshi Yamaguchi Shihan.

The following outings are planned whilst in Japan and is subject to change: 

• Tour to the beautiful countryside of Kamakura to see the great Buddha and ancient temples 

• Training with Saiko Shihan and Masatoshi Hanshi 

• A cultural exchange/training seminar with Japanese children 

• Shinjuku and Harajuku by night 

• Sightseeing at the Meiji gardens 

• Visit to Tokyo Disney
